HOMEMADE DEVIL CRABS

  • loaf of white bread, all ends cut off
  • (about 18 slices)    4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 C cracker meal, salt & pepper
  • 2 cups lump crab meat
  • 1/2 C onion
  • 1/2 C red bell pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves,  all 3 chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce, canola oil to fry

Fry onion, bell pepper, garlic in olive oil until soft, about 8 min. add tomato sauce & 1/2 can water, let thicken simmering on low for about 6 min.  Add crab,mix carefully. Set aside.
